Option 1 Search by specifying the IPCC Source/Sink Category, Fuel (if applicable), Gas and fulltext filters. This search option consists of two main stages. These stages are designed to allow you to filter the large EFDB data set for information that is most applicable to your search criteria. 1) Categorisation stage requires you to choose the IPCC Source/Sink Category, Fuel (if applicable) and Gas. Choosing the IPCC Source/Sink Category Choose either 1996 or 2006 IPCC Guidelines version from the dropdown box. Click on categories to navigate through the IPCC Source/Sink Categories hierarchy. The red o marks the lowest level of the hierarchy. Choose the Fuel from the dropdown box if applicable (currently applicable to IPCC Source/Sink Category 1A (1.A) and all of its subcategories). Only emission factors defined within the selected IPCC Source/Sink Category (this also includes the IPCC Source/Sink Categories that are the subcategories of the selected category) will be contained in the search procedure. After choosing the desired IPCC Source/Sink Category (and Fuel if applicable), you can proceed to specifying the Gas(es). Choosing Gas(es) The gases are split into several gas groups. You can choose the gas group using the selection box located at the top of the gas list. The list of gases for chosen gas group will be displayed. CO2, CH4 & N2O are displayed by default. There is a checkbox located in the last column of each row of the list. It is possible to choose one ore more gases by checking the checkbox and clicking the Apply button. It is also possible to check/uncheck all gases within the selected group at once by clicking the checkbox located in the column header. Status row contains the information on your current criteria and count of emission factors matching the criteria. If you are done with specifying the criteria click the Output table button to display the output table.
2) Screen stage - sort and filter the output table to narrow down the data records by
considering properties of data, source of data, etc.
Output table The list of all emission factors that match your criteria will be displayed. Output table contains all property values for each EF with possibilities to attach/detach filters. The active filters are always displayed in the row with Active filters label. Each filter has its own [x] link which will detach that particular filter. It is possible to change the order of displayed records. Clicking the column header labels (links) of each column (except Value and Unit) will order records by that column. Small arrow next to column label represents the direction of order (ascending or descending). Clicking the same column header will switch order direction between ascending and descending. You can click the Detail button located in the last column of the list for each EF to get the complete EF information. The number of displayed emission factors is limited to 10 records per page. If the search results contain more than 10 emission factors, You can display the next page by clicking button.
You can display the previous page by clicking button.
You can get to the last page by clicking button.
You can get to the first page by clicking button.
Option 2 FULLTEXT search using keywords. Please, refer to Information on FULLTEXT search engine. Option 3 Find EF using unique ID.This option can be used to directly display the detail of one particular emission factor in case you know (or remember) its unique ID. You have to type the numeric ID in the textbox and click OK. If emission factor with this ID exists in the EFDB, you will get the detailed information of that emission factor. The first number of the ID represents the IPCC Major Sector where Emission Factor belongs to. (e.g. 1xxxx for Energy, 4xxxx for Agriculture, etc.) |
