  • FAO-AFOLU Database
    • Provides data on crop and livestock production
    • Inputs- e.g., fertilisers, pesticide use, production and trade
    • Forestry production and trade data
    • Land use information by country and land use areas, emission factors, biomass burning, land use /forest conversion etc.,
    • Emissions from Agriculture and Land Use -The FAOSTAT emissions database is computed following Tier 1 IPCC 2006 Guidelines for National GHG Inventories
  • Harmonized World Soil Database
    • The Harmonized World Soil Database is a 30 arc-second raster database with over 15 000 different soil mapping units that combines existing regional and national updates of soil information worldwide (SOTER, ESD, Soil Map of China, WISE) with the information contained within the 1:5 000 000 scale FAO-UNESCO Soil Map of the World (FAO, 1971-1981).
FAO, CIRAD, and University of Tuscia
  • Globallometree
    • GlobAllomeTree is an international web platform to share data for assessing volume, biomass and carbon stock of trees and forests.
    • Data Available on GlobAllomeTree includes:Tree Volume and Biomass Data, Wood density, Biomass Expansion Factors and Allometric Equations
Netherlands (NWO), NASA, Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation
  • Global Fire Emissions Database (GFED)
    • Combines satellite information on fire activity and vegetation productivity to estimate gridded monthly burned area and fire emissions, as well as scalars that can be used to calculate higher temporal resolution emissions.
    • The current version is 4 which has a spatial resolution of 0.25 degrees and is available from 1997 onwards. The most recent year is 2016.
